Sovereign Hill is a dynamic group of museums presenting the mining, social, cultural and environmental heritage of the Ballarat region and its impact on Australia’s history.

The Engineering & Infrastructure Department is responsible for constructing and maintaining all buildings and displays across Sovereign Hill, Sovereign Hill Hotel, Gold Museum and Narmbool. The OHS Department is positioned within the Engineering and Operations Department. The OHS Department is primarily involved in driving OHS systems throughout the organisation. It provides expert assistance and advice to Manager’s and staff on OHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance and OHS best practices to reduce injury and harm.

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Part Time OHS Administration Officer. This role is Fixed Term for 2 years, working 30 hours per week over 5 days in the OHS Department. The OHS Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of an effective OHS management system and providing administration assistance to the OHS Manager as well as Department Managers and the OHS Committee.
