We are looking for a driven individual to join our People and Culture team as OHS & Workcover (RTW) Advisor
The OHS function is involves in driving OHS systems throughout the organisation. It provides expert assistance and advice to Manager’s and staff on OHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance and OHS best practices to reduce injury and harm.
Reporting to the Head of OHS, the OHS and Workcover (RTW) Advisor will play an important role in the implementation of effective OHS management systems through the provision of practical support and guidance across the organisation. The role is also responsible for the administration of Workcover as the Return to Work Coordinator.

The successful applicant must have
- Previous experience in a similar OHS role including WorkCover/RTW
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and Worker’s Compensation legislation
- Experienced in investigating and reporting safety incidents
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify effective control measures
- Previous experience in claims management, return to work Coordination, workers compensation or injury management
- Proficient in the use of Safety Management software applications and online reporting tools
- Sound stakeholder communication and relationship management skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, well organised and ability to prioritise tasks
- Sound skills in MS Office packages and databases especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and professionalism
- Must have a pronounced sense of maturity and responsibility to deal with all facets of the role and act as a 2IC in the absence of the Head of OHS
Qualifications and checks
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Cert IV Workplace training & assessment is highly regarded
- WorkCover RTW Coordination Certification
- Working with Children check
- Police check
- First Aid Certificate
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
