ABOUT THE POSITION:

The primary accountability of the position is to lead and participate in the production of online content that is timely, accurate, accessible, well-structured and verifiably useful for our customers.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Highly developed conceptual and creative skills with demonstrated experience in planning and producing content for online delivery
  2. Demonstrated application of User Experience (UX) principles and practices, particularly relating to user-centric design and accessibility applied to the design and development of online assets and their content.
  3. Demonstrated experience with modern online content production and management software, including      image/video tools and CMS platforms
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and strategically prioritise multiple projects to delivery
  5. Ability to work constructively and effectively as a team member with minimal supervision, and with a range of other stakeholders within and beyond Museum Victoria to achieve agreed outcomes.
  6. Demonstrated application of life-long learning principles and continuously updating areas of subject matter expertise.
  7. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  8. The successful applicant is required to undergo a Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
