Museum Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic Online Systems Administrator to support effective digital systems for Museum Victoria as a key member of the Digital and Emerging Technologies (DET) Department.

About the position:
This position is accountable for ensuring secure, reliable and effective Information Technology systems. Notable skills and experiences:
- Extensive skills and experience in providing technical advice and support of online systems and applications within a complex environment;
- Extensive knowledge of current network based technologies, current server technologies, with demonstrated flexible programming, database management and reporting skills, especially with a focus on a Microsoft environment;
- Experience in project management, including the ability to lead, plan, facilitate, work independently within set parameters, report project progress clearly and accurately, and to deliver on firm deadlines within budget.
- Knowledge of and demonstrable skills in implementing collaborative technologies, including workflow, to facilitate improved business processes;
- Demonstrated understanding of network and associated security technologies
Other information
This is a full-time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $74,962 + 9.5% superannuation. The successful applicant may be requested to work at any Museum Victoria site, when required.
