Abstract submissions open – ICOM NATHIST Conference, ICOM, June 2026

Adelaide, Australia, will host the International Council of Museums Committee for Natural History (NATHIST) Annual Conference and General Meeting from 9-11 November 2026.

The conference will be presented by the South Australian Museum and Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia, with an associated program of events taking place from 12-13 November 2026.

This international gathering will bring together museum professionals, scientists, researchers and natural history specialists from across the globe to share knowledge, explore emerging ideas, and strengthen collaboration across the natural history collections sector.

Abstract submissions are now open and you are invited to contribute to the Conference program by sharing your knowledge, research, and experiences with an international audience. Help shape discussions on the future of natural history collections, research, and engagement.
