The Operations & Governance Officer provides high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, Office of the Chief Executive, and members of the Executive team, and supports the operations and governance functions of the Museum including the secretariat for the Trust and FARM Committee, ensuring all administrative, operational and governance matters are prioritised, and handled efficiently and effectively. This position works with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive and is required to manage all projects/initiatives as assigned. The role is a key public-facing role representing the Office of the Chief Executive.
The Powerhouse, through the renewal and across its platforms, will redefine museums in the 21st century by renegotiating the terms of engagement with communities, radically returning to and reckoning with its legacy as a museum of industry and fortifying its vital role in the cultural and economic ecosystems of NSW, Australia, and the world.
