Museum Victoria seeks a talented and engaging Outreach Presenter to present programs to audiences unable to attend a Museum Victoria venue, as part of the Museum Victoria outreach service.

Museum Victoria cares for the State scientific and cultural collections, providing visitor access, activities and events at five distinct venues: Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, IMAX Cinema and world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The position is accountable for delivering presentations and shows, which provide audiences unable to attend a Museum Victoria venue with access to the museum’s science and history collections.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret science and history for diverse audiences
- Awareness of education and learning techniques for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams including the ability to work with multiple project leaders
- Able to take responsibility for own performance and manage own work and time effectively
OTHER INFORMATION
This is an Irregular Part-time (Min 30 hours per fortnight); ongoing position. The salary on offer is $46,143 pro rata + 9.5% superannuation.
