The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Premier & Cabinet, it was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 21 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. About the role
This position will manage key relationships, renewals and development of partnerships to maximise value to both corporate partners and the AM. The Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for communication with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of AM programs and initiatives, and track project schedules and budgets. The Partnerships Account Manager will also support the Partnerships Sales Manager to identify relevant prospects and opportunities for new partnerships.

Essential Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, sales, marketing, partnerships and event management or a related field and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing corporate relationships in a fundraising, sponsorship, business development and/or marketing environment.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft office suit products essential
- Adequate knowledge and experience in order to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in this Role Description.
