The Museum has an opportunity for a professional to join the Human Resources Business Unit to lead the Payroll and Systems Administration Team.
This is a unique opportunity that will suit an individual looking to combine their extensive payroll and systems administration experience and develop their reporting, metrics collection, and data analysis skills. The position leads a small team that provides end-to-end payroll services for a small number of client agencies in a shared services environment.

The position is responsible for managing resources and performance outcomes and will develop and implement business improvement initiatives that contribute to the strategic and operational priorities of the Museum. The collection of key metrics and data analysis will inform broader Museum workforce planning processes.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of HR Information Systems, including system administration, enhancements, upgrades, and testing to support effective and efficient payroll processing and other HR system modules. The incumbent of this position will perform the duties of Aurion Systems Administrator and develop team knowledge and understanding of the Aurion system and reporting capabilities.
This position is responsible for liaising and negotiating with vendors and client agencies as well as internal stakeholders. Leading the payroll function, the position provides expertise and guidance on complex pay matters and mentors team members to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
