Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Planetarium Lead Animator to produce content for a new 25-minute fulldome 4K planetarium show on the motion of the Earth through space to support the Year 7 national curriculum. The show will be developed for education, general public and family audiences.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Notable skills and experiences:
- Demonstrated expertise in 3D animation and the specific software and equipment unique to computer animation.
- Broad experience in multimedia production with the demonstrated ability to produce innovative, creative, high quality work, such as in the planetarium, museum exhibition or multimedia realm.
- In depth and extensive knowledge about creating and producing high quality animations & special effects relevant to astronomy.
- High level conceptual skills and experience in communicating to and interacting with a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a specified schedule and budget.
