The Conservator (Loans) is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering conservation services for inward and outward loans, with a focus on the safe handling, movement, installation, display and care of collection objects and borrowed material. The role also provides conservation support for commissions and public art at Powerhouse Parramatta and contributes to the preservation, access and presentation of the Museum’s multi-disciplinary collections. Working across teams and with external partners, the role delivers specialist advice and practical conservation outcomes that enable exhibitions, research, public programs and loans activity while ensuring appropriate risk management and long-term collection care.
