Powerhouse
We are seeking a Digital Asset Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day management of the digital archive created through the Powerhouse’s ongoing digitisation work. You will work closely with photographers, collection specialists, and the broader digitisation team to ensure that every digital file, from RAW captures through to online derivatives, is accurate, consistent, and securely managed. Your work will directly support electronic access to the collection and contribute to the long-term preservation of thousands of digital assets.This role is suited for someone who enjoys being hands-on and detail-driven. Your contribution will shape how the public engages with the Powerhouse collection.

Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.
