We are building a new Museum for Waitaha Canterbury – a world-class facility for the taonga (treasures) we care for and a place to tell the stories of our region and the people who live here.
We now have the opportunity for two Exhibition Preparators to join us on our journey of redevelopment. We are looking for people with exhibition/display design skills combined with an innovative outlook, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
You will be directly involved in the development of exhibitions for the redeveloped Museum. From concept to developed design, build and install, you will have proven experience in exhibition design and fabrication, along with demonstrated success working effectively within a project team.
You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in design, combined with sound practical building skills.
One full time permanent role and one full time 3-year fixed term contract role is available.
