Powerhouse
The Sydney Observatory Host is key to visitor engagement, providing science and cultural communication across the Observatory program. Sydney Observatory is a significant scientific and education facility. This role delivers programs, including history, heritage, and science tours and exhibitions, across a 7 days/week roster including evening hours. The role is responsible for the highest standard of visitor service across public programs and operations. In addition to program delivery, the role responds to visitor enquiries, communicates general site and program information. Sydney Observatory Hosts also support the delivery of events and venue hire in addition to assuming a key role in site safety and emergency management.
