Precinct Coordinator, Clerk 7-8, Ongoing

Two roles

Powerhouse Ultimo & Sydney Observatory, Castle Hill

Join our team at Powerhouse as a Precinct Coordinator, where you’ll take charge of ensuring our environment is safe, functional, and efficient every day. You’ll lead the coordination of service providers, consultants, and contractors, and support our Facilities Engineering and Services departments to deliver top-notch proactive and reactive asset management. If you’re passionate about maintaining excellence in operational facilities, this role is for you.

We are looking for two Precinct Coordinators. One of which will work across Ultimo and the Sydney Observatory and one across our Castle Hill site.

About Powerhouse

Through the renewal and across its platforms, Powerhouse will redefine museums in the 21st century by renegotiating the terms of engagement with communities, radically returning to and reckoning with its legacy as a museum of industry and fortifying its vital role in the cultural and economic ecosystems of NSW, Australia and the world. In 2024, the Powerhouse, one of Australia’s oldest and most important cultural institutions, continues the delivery of its renewal program across its five platforms, Powerhouse Parramatta, Powerhouse Ultimo, Powerhouse Castle Hill, Sydney Observatory and Powerhouse Digital, our space to tell stories and provide new levels of access to the Powerhouse Collection of over 500,000 objects.
