About the role
Join ACMI as the ASEAN Project Manager and play a key role in delivering ACMI’s ASEAN-Australia Centre grant project. Working closely with the Head of Touring, Exhibitions, Curatorial and Program teams and stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of an international partnership program, professional learning exchange and collaborative exhibition with leading Southeast Asian cultural partners. You’ll manage complex stakeholder relationships, project timelines, budgets and contractual obligations while ensuring successful project outcomes that support cultural exchange, audience engagement and ACMI’s international touring strategy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant international initiative that will strengthen museum practice, build regional partnerships and culminate in a co-developed exhibition for presentation across the ASEAN region.
What you’ll bring to the role

- Highly developed project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, monitor progress, adapt to changing circumstances and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external partners, including international organisations.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality projects while maintaining professional standards, safety requirements and organisational objectives.
