A Pool will also be running for a period of up to 12 months.

About the role
The Senior Human Resources Officer contributes to a broad range of human resource activities, including strategic workforce and organisational development activities. This role provides a comprehensive human resources advisory and consultancy service to the WA Museum employees and volunteers.

Our ideal candidate is a versatile and customer-focused Human Resources Generalist, keen to contribute to a close-knit and energetic team. You’ll be involved in a broad range of HR functions, with opportunities to develop new skills and grow professionally.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Provide contemporary, customer-focused consultancy advice to managers and staff on a range of human resource matters, including recruitment and selection, classification, and establishment.
- Administer the online Learning Management System, ensuring learning modules and programs are current and aligned with the needs of the Museum.
- Manage the Volunteering Management Portal and assist with volunteering compliance checks, including verifying Working with Children Checks.
