Technology Operations Partner, Clerk 7-8

Powerhouse Parramatta

We are seeking a Technology Operations Partner for our Parramatta site. This role is part of a team of three Partners working across Powerhouse precincts and reports directly to the Head of ICT Operations.

The Technology Operations Partner is responsible for ensuring the standard and consistency of technology used by visitors, the community, and the workforce across all Powerhouse locations. The roles are highly skilled and client-focused, dedicated to implementing and responding to technology requirements and issues, with an emphasis on meeting client needs.

In response to the Powerhouse renewal, the Technology Operations Partner provides a wide range of administrative services and coordination support to geographically dispersed teams undertaking service desk and field support activities. The positions assist with resource planning, scheduling, prioritising, and work allocations.

About Powerhouse

Through the renewal and across its platforms, Powerhouse will redefine museums in the 21st century by renegotiating the terms of engagement with communities, radically returning to and reckoning with its legacy as a museum of industry and fortifying its vital role in the cultural and economic ecosystems of NSW, Australia and the world. In 2024, the Powerhouse, one of Australia’s oldest and most important cultural institutions, continues the delivery of its renewal program across its five platforms, Powerhouse Parramatta, Powerhouse Ultimo, Powerhouse Castle Hill, Sydney Observatory and Powerhouse Digital, our space to tell stories and provide new levels of access to the Powerhouse Collection of over 500,000 objects.
