About the Role  

The Australian Museum is seeking an experienced CRM and ticketing specialist to take on a key role within a dynamic, visitor-focused organisation.

The Ticketing & CRM Specialist is responsible for the effective operation, optimisation and continuous improvement of the Australian Museum’s Tessitura CRM and ticketing systems. The role coordinates and implements ticketing and CRM solutions that support exhibitions, programs, membership, events and visitor experiences, while maintaining system integrity, data quality, operational efficiency and a high standard of customer service.

Working collaboratively across the Museum and with external stakeholders, the role provides specialist operational and technical support, contributes to system enhancements and process improvements, and supports the successful delivery of organisational priorities through best practice CRM and ticketing operations.

The main activities of the role include working with all AM business units on CRM and Ticketing functions including data integrity, hygiene and other ticketing related functions, and working with the Digital Team to maintain the optimal user journey on TNEW

You will be paid a competitive total remuneration package of $113,429 – $125,157, including an annual salary of $99,938 – $110,271 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.

About you 

We are seeking a staff member who has demonstrated experience in the administration and optimisation of Tessitura or a similar CRM and ticketing platform, with a strong understanding of system configuration, data quality and reporting. You are highly organised with a methodical approach to problem-solving, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across a complex, fast-paced organisation. A collaborative and confident communicator, you can translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders and build effective working relationships across teams and with external partners.

To be eligible for this role at the Australian Museum, you must hold full working rights in Australia and meet all essential requirements listed in the position description.

Knowledge & Experience

  •  Minimum three years’ experience working with a CRM system, Tessitura preferred, ideally in a front-end user support capacity.
  •  Experience in the elicitation, definition and negotiation of business requirements across teams.
  •  Understanding of ticketing operations and sales reporting.
  •  Experience coordinating external developer resources, including functional review and testing.
  •  Experience working within a cultural institution highly desirable.
