Museum Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic Presenter to contribute to the audience experience through effective program delivery at Melbourne Museum.

Museum Victoria cares for the State scientific and cultural collections, providing visitor access, activities and events at five distinct venues:  Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, IMAX Cinema and world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for delivering programs, activities or shows in a way that engages Museum Victoria’s audiences and contributes to the audience experience.

Notable skills and experiences:

  1. Well developed communication and presentation skills.
  2. Demonstrated ability to interpret humanities and natural science for diverse audiences.
  3. Awareness of education and learning techniques for diverse audiences.
  4. Good organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams including the ability to work with multiple project leaders.
  6. Able to take responsibility for own performance and manage own work and time effectively.
  7. The successful applicant is required to undergo a Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
