On 31 October 2013, the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service, Senator the Hon. Eric Abetz, announced interim recruiting arrangements for the Australian Public Service. The Procurement Advisor will provide high quality procurement and contracts management advice across the Memorial, including support for major corporate projects as required. The responsibilities of the role require demonstrated experience across a range of procurement functions, from tender development through to some contract management support. The position requires a high level of organisational and technical skills, and an ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. Well developed written and oral communication, reporting and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
