Program Manager, International and Domestic Engagement

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, high-achieving professional to join the Public Engagement division to lead the newly established International and Domestic Engagement Business Unit. The unit includes the international touring exhibition program, the domestic touring exhibition program, oversees the Museum’s Memorandum of Understanding with cultural institutions nationally and internationally, and develops the Museum’s cultural diplomacy activities.

This position is responsible for overseeing and establishing a business framework that will increase our partnership opportunities leading to a sustainable increase in reputation, revenue and visitation. Fundamental to this role is the need for the Museum to grow our business sustainability, strengthen and mature our resource base through charging frameworks for touring exhibition activities while securing external funding opportunities to support the program where relevant.

The role will focus on building distinctive partnerships that lead to the Museum becoming globally recognised as the pre-eminent source of high-quality outreach services. This position works closely across many Museum business units, including the Directorate, to leverage opportunities and partnerships.
