Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Programs Coordinator, Early Years (STEM) to develop and deliver Early Years STEM and Numeracy Professional Learning Workshops for kindergartens in regional Victoria and Outer-Metro Melbourne.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Education Manager, Museums Victoria, this position is accountable for developing and delivering programs and professional learning opportunities with an Early Years STEM focus, which contribute to achieving the mission of Museums Victoria and address the goals of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and Department of Education and Training.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven ability to network with and present to relevant stakeholders including early learners, educators and/or Kindergarten/School communities and to communicate with and present to a broad range of individuals and groups
- Proven ability to develop innovative learning materials for Kinder teachers and early learners, meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Knowledge of Early Years education/Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and/or Science Technology Engineering Maths (STEM)
- Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate and lead projects, ensuring that targets and objectives are achieved within agreed timeframes
- Demonstrated capacity to use insights and expertise derived from programming and professional development activities and to critically reflect on and evaluate professional practice in order to enhance the development and delivery of programs
