Museum Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic Programs Officer to develop and deliver engaging and inspiring public programs.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for developing and delivering public programs which contribute to the achievement of Museum Victoria’s strategic directions

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. 1 Well-developed communication and presentation skills
  2. Demonstrated ability to interpret Australian history and/ immigration issues for diverse audiences
  3. Awareness of education and learning techniques for diverse audiences
  4. Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams including the ability to work with multiple project leaders
  6. Able to take responsibility for own performance and manage own work and time effectively
  7. The successful applicant must have, or be willing to undergo and meet the cost of, a Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable.
