Under the direction of the Manager of Indigenous Programs this position will support the day to day operations of the Indigenous unit. Working across all sections of the museum the position will engage with stakeholder groups and communities on a national level to deliver Indigenous specific projects, programs and exhibitions.
Eligibility: Applicants for vacancies at the ANMM must be Australian citizens. Applications may be accepted from permanent residents who have applied for citizenship.
This position is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position. This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people under clause 4.2 (6)(b)(i) of the Public Service Commissioner’s Directions 1999.
Selection for this position will be made on the basis of relative merit, which will be assessed against each item of the selection criteria. Applications that do not address the selection criteria will not be considered for short listing by the Selection Committee.
