Project Coordinator – Castle Hill Consolidation

The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences sits at the intersection of art, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues.

The Powerhouse Program is one of the largest cultural infrastructure projects currently being undertaken in the country.  The Program includes four key projects; the establishment of the Powerhouse Precinct at Parramatta, the expansion of the Powerhouse collection facilities in Castle Hill, the establishment of the Powerhouse Creative Industries Precinct in Ultimo and the Collection Relocation and Digitisation of over 300,000 objects from the Powerhouse collections.

The Project Coordinator, Castle Hill Consolidation is an integral role in delivering the aims of the Collection Relocation & Digitisation (CRD) project. Providing high level project management support to the CRD project, with a focus on consolidation of the existing Collection Storage facility. The role is responsible for design, assessment, specification, procurement and installation of collection storage systems; and the planning, coordination, implementation, review and reporting of collection logistics as they relate to the consolidation work.
