Auckland Museum is an influential, much-loved organisation at the centre of Auckland’s identity, committed to developing and sharing engaging content through its galleries, exhibition, events and educational programmes.

The Project Curator will provide curatorial expertise in Natural Sciences collections and research directed towards the development of narratives and content central to the implementation of new galleries in Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum.

The role will contribute to research, collection development, promotion of collection access, and the development of long-term exhibitions and public programs related to the Natural Science collections – that include floral, faunal, palaeontological and geological collections – and on museum research primarily of the Auckland region and the regional Pacific.
