Project Manager – Website Redevelopment

The website is an essential tool for QMN to engage and connect with visitors and communities, researchers, educators and partners. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Information services teams, this role will be responsible for project managing the delivery of a redeveloped website that is relevant and dynamic and meets the evolving requirements of our audiences. The challenge of the role will be to ensure the new website is easily accessible, engaging and maximises QMN’s investment in software and staff.

You will be a versatile, multi-skilled and motivated project manager who may have specialist knowledge or (or ability to acquire) demonstrated experience in digital products and services in a complex ICT environment. Areas may include information architecture, UX/UI (design), software development, cloud hosting, security and privacy, analytics and reporting, content optimisation, and testing.

You will take on the challenging and rewarding role of leading a small project team of creative and enthusiastic people to redevelop a critical communication channel. You will have a positive attitude, be a critical thinker who can juggle multiple tasks and enjoy working at a face pace, while remaining highly organised in an innovative environment. To be successful in this role you will be a strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented approach, a people leader with strong organisational skills.

There are no mandatory qualifications. However, the below would be highly regarded and desirable.

7-10 years’ experience in leadership roles using project management methodology preferably with knowledge in the fields of technical design, development and testing for functionality, usability, accessibility and overall user experience and the capabilities of the CMS Sitecore.

Accreditation in one or more of the widely recognized project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, PMP, P3O Practitioner, MSP Foundation.
