Join the dynamic team delivering Western Australia’s new world-class museum

We are looking for an experienced community engagement officer to assist with the implementation and reporting of the State-wide program of consultation and engagement for the New Museum.

Conditions
This is a full-time fixed-term vacancy until 2 February 2020 with the possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.

Job Description
The Project Officer Engagement is responsible for implementing and reporting outcomes from the community engagement initiatives that support the New Museum Project’s Strategy for Public Engagement. This position works in collaboration with others, including external partners to encourage participation in and with the New Museum Project and ensure the interests, needs, and expectations of the people of WA are taken into consideration during the development of the Project.

Location
This position is located in central Perth, based at Gordon Stephenson House, One40 William Street. This building is located above the underground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.
