Job Description
The Project Officer Engagement is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting on outcomes from community engagement initiatives that support the New Museum Project’s Strategy for Public Engagement.

This position works in collaboration with others, including external partners, to encourage participation in and with the New Museum Project and ensure the interests, needs and expectations of the people of WA are taken into consideration during the development of the Project.

Conditions
This is for 1 (one) full-time, fixed-term contract, up until 30 June 2020, with a possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment.Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, part-time, fixed term appointments may be made.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate and a Working with Children Clearance will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department of Culture and the Arts Police Record Screening Policy.

Location
This position is based in Perth however employees may be required to travel to and work from any of the Museum’s sites on a short-term basis. Travel to regional and remote communities, and some weekend work may be required.
