Museums Victoria is seeking a Project Officer, Governance to support and co-ordinate the delivery of Convene board management software and other projects as required, which support the delivery of Museums Victoria’s governance framework. This position will also assist with establishing and implementing effective business systems and operational procedures for the Governance team, Museums Victoria Executive, Museums Board of Victoria and Board committees.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
This role will support and co-ordinate the delivery of Convene board management software and other projects as required, which support delivery of Museums Victoria’s governance framework. This position will also assist with establishing and implementing effective business systems and operational procedures for the Governance team, Museums Victoria Executive, Museums Board of Victoria and Board committees.
Key duties include:
- Develop project timeline and deliverables for implementation of the Convene board management software;
- Support and co-ordinate the delivery of projects which support delivery of Museums Victoria’s governance framework;
- Support the development of relevant procedures and processes for users, including written guides/instructions and other materials, as required;
- Liaise directly with members of the Executive and Board as necessary to ensure engagement and smooth adoption of the software;
- Provide project support and assistance to the Manager, Governance and Accountability and the Governance team as required;
- Assist with the maintenance of systems and procedures that contribute to the efficient management of the Governance team, in line with MV policies and procedures;
- Co-ordinate and participate in regular intra- and inter-departmental meetings, creating or collating documentation, communication with managers, department heads and other relevant staff to confirm schedules and ensure actions are completed.
