Job Description
As the Project Officer sitting in the Regional Development team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a range of projects in support of the division’s objectives.

You will prepare and coordinate reports, submissions, briefings, correspondence and advice relating directly to your project as well as undertake detailed research and analysis and assist in the evaluation and review of your project outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your experience in contributing to project teams focussed on curatorial, conservation and exhibition outcomes, have a sound understanding of the conservation needs of a variety of objects and archival material as well as practical and detailed knowledge of museum procedures and curatorial practices and skills.

Conditions
This is a part time (0.8FTE or 60 hours per fortnight), fixed term vacancy until 31 December 2019, with a possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time or fixed term.

Location
This position is located in central Perth, based at Gordon Stephenson House, One40 William Street. You will be ideally located above the under-ground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts. Some regional travel will be required.
