Duties

The Project Officer provides project support and coordination assistance to the Official Historian and the Official Histories team related to the set-up, planning, administration and reporting of the project.

Under the general direction of the Official Historian, this involves tasks related to the set-up of the project office including coordination of recruitment of members of the project team, establishment of processes within Memorial systems, support of the Official Historian, co-ordination and secretariat for cross-agency meetings, basic stakeholder requests, travel and interview itineraries, finance and procurement support, budgeting and maintenance of the project plan, reporting and documentation.

Notes

  1. This position requires the occupant to obtain and maintain a security clearance at Negative Vetting Level 2 (Top Secret).
  2. Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified task
  3. The position will be filled for a specified task with an estimated completion date of 2022.
