The purpose of this role is to drive awareness and reputation of MAAS through media relations, media partnerships and oversight of external public relations service providers.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role is responsible for the development and ongoing management of relationships with print, broadcast and digital media outlets. Developing and delivering publicity strategies, working collaboratively with colleagues, this role will be critical in building the reputation of MAAS.

Question 1 – Critical to success in this role is taking a collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders. Provide an example where you have needed to convince other parties to participate in a campaign or initiative who were initially sceptical to collaboration. How did you garner their ongoing support?

Question 2 – Tell us about a time where you had to manage a complex set of relationships and customer needs that were occurring simultaneously. How did you ensure that competing demands were addressed?
