This annual forum is an opportunity for the regional museums and collections sector to get together, discuss current topics and be inspired by new ideas. This forum is designed for regional MAAS stakeholders, such as:
- volunteers of regional museums and galleries
- arts development officers
- museum advisors
- programs producers at cultural institutions or collecting organisations or
- cultural sector advisers.
This year’s forum will bring attendees up-to-date on issues affecting regional museums, collecting organisations and institutions. Presentations will cover:
- bringing tourism to regional museums and galleries
- techniques for fund-raising and crowd-funding
- ideas on how the arts can ‘activate’ and energise your museum and gallery
- advice on making meaningful connection with regional Indigenous stakeholders.
