Conditions
This is a full-time, fixed-term vacancy, for a period of 22 months, with a possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, or fixed term.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Location
This position is located at the Museum’s Collections and Research Centre at 49 Kew Street, Welshpool.

Job Description
As the Registration Officer you will be contributing to enhancing, coordinating and facilitating access to the Museum’s collections via a significantly enriched electronic catalogue and by supporting the development and implementation of the New Museum Project.

Collection information is of key strategic importance to the Museum as it prepares for the New Museum project. This role will focus on assisting to improve the quality and quantity of digital information about the Museum’s collections as well as assisting with their physical coordination as required for the New Museum Project.
