Australia’s largest public museums organisation is seeking a Resilience Coordinator to support the development and implementation of key aspects of Museums Victoria’s Resilience Framework, including the development and implementation of a strategic security framework, emergency and business continuity process and the development and implementation of building emergency plans and procedures.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Resilience Coordinator is to manage the development, alignment and implementation of key aspects of a Resilience Framework consisting of security, counter-terrorism, business continuity and emergency management plans and procedures so that all risks to Museums Victoria, its staff, visitors and contractors are identified and effectively managed.
Core duties of this role include:
- Providing high-level support, advice and detailed analysis for the ongoing development and implementation of a strategic framework of security, counter-terrorism, business continuity and emergency management plans and procedures across Museums Victoria.
- Managing the development of process improvement plans that support the successful delivery of Museums Victoria’s strategic resilience framework.
- Project manage and deliver the revitalisation of key security systems infrastructure while ensure compliance with CCTV evidentiary requirements.
- Performing detailed analysis of Museums Victoria facilities while making recommendations to the Security and Emergency Manager, including reports, detailing site hazards and concerns of significant impact.
- Managing security awareness and emergency management training packages and manage yearly building evacuation exercises at all Museums Victoria sites.
- Undertake investigations and providing support for the resolution of issues/incidents associated with security and emergency matters, while providing timely reports to the Security and Emergency Manager.
