ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, Museums Victoria, this position is accountable for generating sales by providing high levels of customer service and specialised retail knowledge to all visitors.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated track record of customer service excellence;
- Substantial experience in retail sales;
- Demonstrated ability to operate a computer point of sale system;
- Demonstrated ability to handle money securely with sound experience completing end of day reconciliations;
- Demonstrated well-developed communication skills, both written and oral;
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member within a diverse organisation.
