We are seeking a dynamic retail manager to lead our retail operations team! The person we are looking for: – Has at least two years’ experience in a similar role – Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment – Has a keen eye for detail, particularly in terms of managing a large and complex inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage own work plan to meet brand, vision and strategic and operational objectives.
- Create and implement the retail operational plan under the direction of the Retail Development Manager
- Responsible for efficient management and day to day operation of the shop including cash handling procedures, daily balances, rostering, time sheet processing, stock transfers, supplier returns, monthly accruals, maintenance of fixtures and IT infrastructure, equipment audits and annual stocktake.
- Perform the various duties of a retail assistant as required
- Implement the visual merchandising plan
- Provide project support to the Retail Development Manager
- Carry out routine re-orders on existing stock lines in line with sales history
- Undertake sourcing of new products in consultation with Retail Development Manager
- Liaise with other internal teams to ensure QM Retail’s operational needs are met
- Contribute to the safety culture of QMN by reporting all incidents and hazards and ensuring work is undertaken in the safest way possible, following all QMN WHS policies/procedures and guidelines relevant to the job.
