Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to ensure the efficient operations of the MV retail outlets.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Retail Operations Manager position is responsible for managing the day to day staff and procedural operations of the MV retail outlets.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated achievements in, and a strong personal commitment to, the delivery of high quality customer service in a retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability in the leadership, supervision and motivation of retail staff to ensure delivery of high quality service.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and maximise profitability across three sites as well as pop up shops, exhibition shops and other sites.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills with a proven capacity to develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to perform under pressure, balance workloads, and prioritise tasks in a high turnover retail environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing operating procedures. Reporting, record keeping and administration tasks also required.
