The Australian Museum hosted the Virtual Excursions Australia conference reVEAl 2015

reVEAL was a great event with delegates able to join in person at the Australian Museum in Sydney and the Australian Centre of Moving Image in Melbourne. Delegates also joined the conference though the live web stream.

The full day program had a variety of sessions for content providers and teachers. The morning was focused on the value of video conferencing for cultural institutions and provided professional development on working with a camera, different technologies that can be used and how to help teachers get started.

The afternoon focused on the importance of video conference for schools. We ran a series of showcases highlighting the variety of content available in the key learning areas of STEM, Arts and Culture, History and Sports.

A key success of the reVEAL 2015 conference was the technical support from Steve Bancroft from RVR media who designed the technical component of the conference.
