About the Role
Responsible for the development and implementation of a risk and safety framework including WHS risk management across the Australian Museum to ensure compliance and to support Departmental and Government WHS and governance objectives.
Responsible for policy implementation, educating, advising, and mentoring managers to eliminate, or mitigate risks within the risk management framework.
Knowledge & Experience
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation & policies and guidelines in WHS and risk management systems preferably in the public sector environment.
- Extensive experience in policy development and implementation of WHS/risk compliance requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in the fields of WHS and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the capabilities outlined in the role description, particularly the focus capabilities.
