National Services Te Paerangi (NSTP) works in partnership with museums, galleries and iwi around Aotearoa | New Zealand, offering a range of practical and strategic programmes aimed at strengthening the sector. We are looking for an ultra-organised person who is experienced in working with iwi, hapū and whānau and has a firm understanding of the Mana Taonga principle that Te Papa upholds.

You will have first rate interpersonal and relationship management skills to work closely with the small team in this critical role, planning and coordinating our training programme for museums, galleries and iwi organisations, managing a grants programme and supporting other sector development initiatives. Established networks across the culture and heritage sector are essential.

To succeed, your excellent coordination skills will assist you in liaising with workshop presenters, venues, and workshop attendees. You’ll need to be methodical, well-organised, a great communicator, and used to working at pace. Experience with administrative procedures, reporting and financial management systems is also required for this rewarding role.
