Canterbury Museum seeks an enthusiastic team player to head up a refocussed security group caring for the safety and integrity of our staff, volunteers, visitors, facilities and priceless collections. Your second focus will be on business-wide risk assessment and assurance.
This is an exciting opportunity resulting from a split of building and facilities management and security and risk roles due to significantly expanded workload in these areas. We’re looking for someone with at least five years’ experience in professional risk management and strategic security, preferably in a cultural institution. The position would not suit someone who has worked solely in physical security management services.
You’ll join an award-winning, vibrant, community-focused team as they prepare for major redevelopment to position the Museum for an even more dynamic future.
