About the position
This position is accountable for the development and implementation of communication and external stakeholder campaigns that increase awareness of Museum Victoria’s significance and leadership among key stakeholder groups, including local, state and national media and government and funding agencies.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated communications campaigns across a broad range of channels, including digital and social media;
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop, communicate and deliver effective strategic plans;
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience;
- Excellent relationship building skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong speech writing skills;
- Experience and understanding of government relations
