In the 2017-18 Victorian Government Budget, ACMI received $5million for the first stage of its redevelopment. In addition to developing designs for a major physical and technological overhaul of the Federation Square attraction, this funding will allow ACMI to further improve the current Flinders Street Entrance.

From July 2017 ACMI will start to develop designs to upgrade the centre for a new generation of Victorians and visitors, identifying and mobilising the creative and operational individuals and teams who will help shape these designs.

To support this process ACMI has to secure an additional $5m in self-generated funding from corporate, philanthropic and other public/trust sources over the next two years and has created a new full-time (temporary) position of Senior Campaign Officer to help drive this forward. Working alongside the existing Development Department and in close conjunction with ACMI’s Board, Head of Development and broader Executive team, this role is responsible for identifying new prospects and writing and delivering complex cultivation strategies and creative and compelling partnership proposals for high-level donors in the corporate and philanthropic sectors.

As the successful candidate you will have experience across both corporate and philanthropic fundraising, with the ability to manage strategic relationships to drive income. Your will have experience in developing successful funding proposals with a track record in executing successful cultivation strategies for both corporate and philanthropic donors.

If successful you will become part of a talented, committed, driven and creative team of people who share a passion for film and digital media in a fast paced, innovative and collaborative environment.
