Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a creative and collaborative person to undertake the development of the Politics & Society collections, including the collections associated with the Royal Exhibition Building collection and the historical archaeology collections, and to participate in the development of exciting new interpretation and programs.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Curator, Politics and Society will be to undertake research, develop the collections, and play a key role in the development of exhibitions, public programs and digital projects.

Notable skills and experiences:

  • Experience in managing and undertaking research projects and in communicating research through different forms of public engagement.
  • Experence in developing collections and information documentation in relevant fields.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining community relationships and building professional networks.
