Queensland Museum Foundation (Foundation) is a small, high-performing team dedicated to developing partnerships with industry, academia and government to support the state-wide programs of Queensland Museum Network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direction from the Business Development Manager, the Senior Development Officer will:
- Coordinate the delivery of contractual deliverables and leverage activities for industry, academia and government partners within time and budget.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders through best-practice account management.
- Research, develop, implement and refine a broad range of development initiatives designed to support Queensland Museum Network’s strategic priorities including World Science Festival Brisbane, Project D.I.G and exhibition programming.
- Apply superior writing skills to develop factual, compelling and audience-appropriate communications including development proposals, grant applications, publicity and promotional material.
- Prepare templated contracts, agreements, C-suite briefs, reports and other corporate documents as required.
- Participate in project working parties and actively identify and escalate emerging or potential issues.
- Comply with Queensland Museum Network policies, procedures and appropriate legislation.
- Contribute to the safety culture of Queensland Museum Network by reporting all incidents and hazards and ensuring work is undertaken in the safest way possible, following all Queensland Museum Network WHS policies and/or procedures and guidelines relevant to the job.
- Other duties commensurate with skills and experience as required.
