The Senior Editor edits text intended for public dissemination in accordance with the established house style of the Australian War Memorial and contributes to the management of the editorial and publications functions of the Memorial. The Senior Editor also develops and oversees the production of publications of various kinds. This includes editing and participating in the management of the Memorial’s magazine Wartime, and carrying out associated historical research and administrative tasks. Other duties include developing and maintaining the Memorial’s style guide, and overseeing the work of Memorial editors and external contract editors.
