We have an exciting opportunity to work in the exhibition design team for eleven months (with a possible extension) at Queensland Museum Network.The role will be based at the Queensland Museum at Southbank. Design projects include permanent and temporary exhibitions and other displays.The software used is Vector works, Sketch up and the Adobe Creative Suite. The design output includes (but is not limited to) creating floor plans, elevations, 3D model renders and finished design documentation for quoting and construction by both an internal workshop team as well as external suppliers.The senior exhibition designer works closely with (amongst others) project managers, curators, conservators, collection managers, graphic designers and the construction/ preparatory team. Experience working with and directing these teams (where appropriate) is highly desirable.Undergraduate, or higher qualification in a relevant field or agreed equivalent (as determined by the Chief Executive).
